OneCNC Australia will be at AUSTECH 2015

austech2015

The Exhibition will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre 26 29 May 2015

Austech is the only show specifically targeted at the metalworking, machine tool and ancillary market held in Australia.

We will have a full team of our application engineering staff on the Stand ready to answer your technical question regarding OneCNC CAD/CAM and able to demonstrate how our software packages can improve your manufacturing efficiency

Bring along details of your most difficult production machining task, challenge our Application Engineers on the stand number 602 and witness first hand why so many customers continue to place their faith in our knowledge, experience and CAD/CAM software.

You will see first hand the capabilities and relatively low cost of the best functionality in the business.

OneCNC at 2015 Moulding Expo Stuttgart

OneCNC Deutschland is Exhibiting at Moulding Expo Stuttgart 5-8 May 2015

stuttgart mould

This is a new trade fair Moulding Expo.

This is a new fair for this High-Tech region of  Stuttgart Germany.

This is basically where the automobile was invented and the majority of the mechanical engineering industry of Germany is domiciled.

Such a perfect place for a trade fair specialising in tool, pattern and mould making.

OneCNC Has a significant presence in this industry in Germany and welcomes the opportunity to exhibit the OneCNC CAD/CAM software solutions at this exhibition.

Come and visit us 5-8 May 2015

OneCNC Deutschland will be in Hall 4 Stand B 22 at this expo.

OneCNCXR6 Swarf Machining

OneCNC 5 axis "Swarf" machining in OneCNCXR6.

Swarf Milling is a type of Surface Milling or machining which lets the user machine a singular or series of surfaces by cutting with the side of the tool.

Swarf Milling produces a slice style tool path, with the slice shape corresponding to the 5-axis suitable surface being machined.

The tool is positioned tangent to the surface being machined and the suitable surface is straight rather than bulged.

OneCNC on selection of the Swarf function indicates by way of colouring each surface that can not be Swarf machined on the current screen part.

Parts that have bulge or do not have tangent to the tool ability are shown as black surfaces, all other surfaces not coloured can be Swarf machined.

Swarf Milling supports end mill tools, as well as tapered end mills and ball mills.

This video shows some of the OneCNCXR6 capabilities of the Swarf machining machining the tapered walls and chamfered edges of a cell plate.

You will note that the tapered walls are finished in one pass of the cutter and the chamfered edges are also finish machined in one pass.

The outer edge is undercut and also Swarf machined.

This Swarf method of machining saves considerable machine time using the flank of the tool instead of needing to use a ball mill in many Z level passes as an example to accomplish a similar result

Swarf Machining is a technique that is excellent for side cutting of a part, such as a tapered rib as another example.

This next video shows the Swarf machining of the fins on the cylinder block. This application of using OneCNCXR6 5 axis and Swarf machining also saves a huge amount of machining time yet produces a finished result superior to other machining methods.

The two videos showing the OneCNC capabilities of Swarf machining were machined on a Hermle 5 axis C400 5 axis machining centre in-house as part of our quality assurance testing of the OneCNCXR6 functionality.
